THE QUICK GUIDE

How to play

Choose an unlocked moonwell. Move freely around its solid stone rim while wisps automatically target nearby creatures. Keep collecting their dropped essence to level up.
Choose one of three upgrades when combat pauses. Improve damage, attack speed, extra wisps, movement, maximum health, healing, pickup radius or Moon Pulse. Upgrade ranks are capped; the guardian can reach level 16.
Use Moon Pulse for enemies nearby and watch its cooldown. Gold attack telegraphs become red danger zones. Step out of charges, thorn circles and projectile lanes before they activate.
The arena boss appears at 4:00. Defeat it before the five-minute eclipse deadline and keep your health above zero. Victories unlock Broken Orrery and Ashfall Hollow; cleared arenas can be replayed.
Score combines actual enemy defeat points, ten points per active second, 5,000 for defeating the boss, and a successful completion bonus of 2,000 plus ten per remaining whole second. No victory points on defeat.

Drag the movement pad or arena to move; use WASD or Arrow keys on desktop. Wisps fire automatically. Tap Moon Pulse or press Q/Space. P/Escape pauses and M toggles sound.

Arena victories, best scores, longest survival and sound preference save locally when browser storage works. Active runs reset on refresh. Hidden tabs pause combat and require Resume. No online leaderboard.
